At Mapleton Veterinary Clinic, we pride ourselves on our family-like atmosphere and believe that the best way to ensure your pet's wellness is to foster a relationship with you, the owner, based on trust and open communication. Below you will find brief bios on each staff member to help you get to know your pet's health care team!
Dr. David Hadam
Dr. Hadam is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and is an owner of Mapleton Veterinary Clinic. He enjoys practicing small animal primary care, working with owners to develop wellness strategies for each individual pet to foster a lifetime of happiness and health. Together with Dr. Bryk, he owns Mapleton VetPlex Supplements, and in his spare time he enjoys farming and restoring tractors. Dr. Hadam lives on a farm in Polk, Ohio with his wife, Shawnette.
Dr. Caitlin Johnson
As of August, 2021 Dr. Johnson has relocated to a new home/practice in Columbus, Ohio. She will be missed here at Mapleton!
Dr. John Bryk
Dr. Bryk is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and is an owner of Mapleton Veterinary Clinic. He is a founding member of Total Practice Solutions Group, Mapleton Thoroughbred Farm, and Mapleton VetPlex Supplements. Dr. Bryk is active in the community as a member of the Farm Bureau and the Medina County Agricultural Society. He lives on a farm in Lodi, Ohio and in his free time he enjoys working with local 4H groups, advising them on their building and animal projects.
Jeannie,
Office Manager
Jeannie has been the Office Manager at Mapleton for nearly 15 years and also assists the veterinarians in patient care. Jeannie's organizational skills keep MVC running smoothly on a daily basis, and she is an asset to owners who have questions regarding any aspect of their pet's health and wellness. Jeannie lives in Hinckley, Ohio with her husband and daughter. In her free time Jeannie enjoys crafting, as well as riding and showing her Quarter Horse, Jack.
Dana Bourdess, RVT
Dana joined the Mapleton Family in 2006 and has been providing top-quality patient care and client service ever since. Her confident and calm presence has proven comforting to countless pets who find a trip to the veterinarian to be a little nerve-wracking. Dana lives on a farm in Sullivan, Ohio with her husband, children, and herds of dogs, goats and horses. Dana is a founding member of Cabin Fever Frenchies, a go-to for some of the nicest French Bulldogs in Ohio.
Tiffany Brown,
Receptionist
As receptionist at MVC, Tiffany is at the front lines of communication with all of Mapleton's clients. She works tirelessly as she receives MVC's phone calls, answering questions and working with clients to schedule wellness exams and surgical procedures at the most convenient times possible. Tiffany lives in Ashland, Ohio with her husband and their son. In her free time, she is a passionate advocate for animal rescue, fostering everything from orphaned puppies and disabled cats to injured birds and reptiles.
Sierra Bourdess, Technician
Sierra is the newest addition to Mapleton having been with us since 2018. Sierra brings a big personality to the practice with her abundant laughter and ever present smile. When not helping to keep things running smooth at the clinic Sierra enjoys working with and showing her horse. She is also an integral part of running the family farm and Cabin Fever Frenchies.
